ROBCOM engineers have announced the launch of a project to remake the legendary Jeep Willys. The main goal of the project is to replace the gasoline engine with an electric one, which will eliminate routine problems associated with car maintenance and repair. Electric motors do not have a fuel injection system, spark plugs, oil filter and other components that require regular replacement and maintenance.
The power of the new electric motor will be 3 kW. In addition, within the framework of the project, it is planned to replace some elements of the chassis to increase the cross-country ability of the car and ensure a more comfortable ride.
We agree that waiting for the results of the first tests of the Willys Jeep with a new engine causes great interest and excitement among many car lovers.
The first tests of the new version of the jeep are already scheduled for the coming weeks. Engineers will conduct comprehensive tests of the car on various types of roads and in off-road conditions to check its patency and reliability.
We will follow the news about the project and keep you up to date with the latest developments and achievements.
